Dr. Brian Arnall

Dr. Brian Arnall is a Professor and the Sitlington Endowed Chair in Agriculture at Oklahoma State University. He is a Fellow of the Agronomy Society of America and serves as Editor of the Agrosystems, Geosciences, and Environment journal. His work revolves around precision technologies and nutrient management in Oklahoma's cropping systems, with a focus on site-specific techniques. Dr. Arnall collaborates with educators and industry professionals to enhance nutrient management practices for increased producer profitability. He has over 20 years of experience in sensor-based technologies, remote sensing, and variable rate application. With 75+ journal publications, 100+ successful grants totaling over $4.5 million, and 750+ talks in 8 countries, Dr. Arnall's program has produced 37 apps for iOS and Android platforms. His goal is to provide producers with information and tools to improve nutrient management practices and enhance profitability in Oklahoma agriculture. Dr. Arnall earned his doctorate in soil science from Oklahoma State University in 2008 and has been an extension specialist since then. He also teaches courses on Soil Nutrient Management and Precision Agriculture at Oklahoma State University.

Dr. Leonardo Bastos

Dr. Leonardo Bastos, an Assistant Professor in Integrative Precision Agriculture at the University of Georgia, stands out with a diverse educational background. Holding a B.S. in Soil Science and Agronomy from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, an M.S. in Microbiology from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. in Soil Fertility/Precision Agriculture with a minor in Statistics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Dr. Bastos is well-equipped to lead groundbreaking research in the field. Leading a lab that specializes in sensor-based variable rate nutrient management, pre-harvest crop quality prediction, and regional envirotyping, Dr. Bastos combines academic rigor with a passion for applied statistics and data science in agriculture and natural resources. His expertise and educational journey mark him as a key contributor to the advancement of agricultural practices.

Meet the founder

Dr. Marcio Goncalves

Dr. Marcio Goncalves earned his veterinary degree from UFRGS, a top university in Brazil, and his PhD in applied swine nutrition from Kansas State University and worked as Global Nutritionist for one of the major swine genetic companies where he led nutrient requirement updates, diet formulation & feeding program for nucleus farms, development of nutritional economic models, and reviewing diets from over 100 customers. Currently, he is the founder of Wisenetix, the largest network of podcasts in the agriculture industry.

He has over 15 years of experience in swine production with exposure to over 20 countries and 120 research studies in pig nutrition/production and his life purpose is to create a positive impact in the world through knowledge dissemination in the global ag industry.
